Setting Goals and Intentions for the New Year

It comes at the end of each December like clockwork. The eminent arrival of the new year. Along with it’s arrival comes the pressure to set new goals and intentions for the year ahead. A clean slate, what will you do with it?

A good practice for setting goals and intentions is to take stock of what you’ve already accomplished and what goals you’ve hit, or worked towards achieving. You can’t move forward without first figuring out where you are.

I recently interviewed my sister, Erin Seay, on the Chaos Queens podcast and got all her tips on ending the year before starting the next one.

You can download Erin’s end of year reflection worksheet HERE.

I also love doing this activity with my kids, so I created a worksheet for them as well. You can download a free copy of that HERE.

Do you regularly set goals? How often do you check in on those goals? Erin suggests checking in at least quarterly. That way you have time to adjust (or celebrate) before the end of the year catches up with you.

I can’t wait to cheer you on!
